Mechanical Discipline Manager

Make your next career move to Austin AECOM in Chicago. As part of the AECOM family of operating companies, we take pride in being an industry leader in sustainable design and construction.  We are seeking a Chief Mechanical Discipline Manager.

You will have an opportunity to oversee HVAC, piping, plumbing and fire protection design. Our projects require sophisticated mechanical systems (e.g. pharmaceutical laboratories and production facilities, clean room facilities). Your responsibilities include writing of commissioning documents, meeting engineering budgets and designing to clients' construction budget, reviewing preliminary design and financial analysis to evaluate design alternatives, mentoring and training engineers, ensuring compliance with codes and communicating with clients and other disciplines. The successful candidate will possess 8-10 years of experience, a BSME and PE.

Familiarity with ISPE baseline guides, ISPE membership and LEED certification a plus.

Construction Project Accountant

Join Austin AECOM in Chicago as a Project Accountant! We provide comprehensive consulting, architecture, engineering and construction services to clients globally. As part of the AECOM family of companies, we take pride in being an industry leader in sustainable design and construction.

This position is responsible for financial administration of two to three large projects or several small projects; assists project managers with manpower scheduling and staffing projections; monitors project performance and provides key indicators which show project weaknesses and strengths; performs project analysis reports as required and interfaces with general accounting staff, project managers and subcontractors.

The successful candidate will possess 5 - 8 years experience in construction project accounting including cost tracking and familiarity with AIA construction billing documents. Oracle experience desired.
