Austin AECOM provided planning, architecture, engineering and construction services for The Tuscaloosa News, a 40,000 circulation daily that is part of the New York Times Regional Newspaper Group. The new 95,000-square-foot office and production facility contains a state-of-the-art press and increased packaging and distribution capabilities.
The facility is strategically located near the major highway entrance into Tuscaloosa, providing improved distribution access as well as the prominence and visibility befitting the paper’s role in the community.
With the exception of the press, Austin AECOM provided the New York Times Company with total turnkey services, including the specification, purchase and installation of all production equipment. |
